Reserving judgments is a matter of infinite hope ~ The Great Gatsby 

Being a full time journalist for 15 more years, I have to say that I don't want to stay in the comfort zone anymore. 

At some certain, I did a quite successful job in media among 15 years, I have a good relationship with different parties, got international award (once), create trends that all looks so smooth for me to do so. 

Simply.  I realised  that I am being lazy and initiated in recent years while thinking in quiet and peaceful night. Lacking of motivation and pressure on the frontier line, to me, it is not much challenge and fun. 

For sure under serious judgement, it should be a good time to extend my career path. 

I like to learn everything started from zero independently . For the professional training as a journalist, I am able to dig out any new thing from my own research, observation, analysis and work. Well said, journalist is a lone in a team.

It is why I don't mind to change my job nature at the time when I am become mid-age (next year). 

"Being a bodyguard?"

Recently, I am taking a lesson about how to be a bodyguard. For sure, I will not work as a bodyguard even though it is a very good paid and cool job. 

It is a skill tactics. How to judge, prepare and prevent the situation become worser and even, how to prevent the unsuitable circumstance happened. That's a lesson to learn how to carry crisis and how to evaluate, and avoid. Those skill is not only applying on guarding job for rich and wealthy millionaires, but also that is way for us in daily life and my job.

Particularly in working with travel industry, I understand I have to evaluate all kinds of circumstances which could be happened in journey. 

One the ear of web2.0, a virtual travel agency is comparatively more important as we can offer our passions, our human touch and personal concern to all of travellers that is not what a computer can manipulate.

決定離開工作了十五的記者工作，因為知道自己不能再留在一個安全地帶。

過去十五年記者生涯，建立自己的關係網絡，以文字帶領潮流，甚至得到國際認可的旅遊報導獎項。好像，一切也得來太易。

只是，靜思中，方知自己墮入周而復返惰性中，好像再沒動力和壓力走前路，一切變得沒挑戰性，經過爭紥和理性判斷，相信，當我還有股衝勁時，絕不想把自己推入無窮谷底，應是最好時機離開傳媒。

嚴謹判㫁，必需為事業開闢另一路線。

人不能永遠處於安穩，要學習如何面對逆景。

從來，做記者都是一個獨立個體，由發挖資訊、找尋資料、預備採訪，到訪作戰，從來是孤獨地進行，因此訓練出獨立處事能力和應付危急問題。就如何找出有趣味東西，須關留意時事，多看書及報刊，再把不同話題加以發揚光大，把最佳資訊以最快速度傳至大眾。

引伸義，這是優點。固我不介意在中年時轉換新工作，經驗是最佳覆歷表。

我學習速度快，更愛自學，持續進修和擴寬興趣乃如獲甘露。

近月，我正上「保鏣」課程，當然，我未必會成為一名保鑣。卻從課堂中，學習如何判斷危險情況。

保鑣不用好好打，最好是一點武力也用不上。在保護人前，必需做好所有準備，更要研究將會發生甚麼問題，如何在差池出現前，解決掉。

這情況，豈不是做旅行社的基本條件嗎？我們協助客人剔走最麻煩和最鎖碎的事，如訂機票、酒店、計劃交通、查詢開放時間、購買門票和預訂餐廳等，必需要細心，仔細和尊心。還有預備危機，萬一有事可找人即時回應和協助。

這一切，惟網上虛擬服務仍未可代替。網上世代，更講求服務質素，一間實體旅行社，優點就在於「人」，人情味、關懷和熱情，那甚是一台電腦所能提供呢？
